Stuff I Use Daily

Hardware

  • Macbook Pro 16" M1 32gb: I spend approximately 18 hours on average with this beast daily.
  • Keychron K2 Pro: This is a pretty recent addition to my workspace, for as long as I remember I have been using the Macbook's built in keyboard, but I decided to give this a try and I have been loving it so far. It feels quite different from the Macbook keyboard but I am getting used to it by practicing touch typing for about 10 minutes daily.
  • Mx Master 2s: This is my go to mouse. Super ergonomic and the battery life is just insane.
  • Sony WH-1000XM5: Excellent sound quality and noise cancelling. A worthy upgrade for long coding sessions.
  • iPad: Use this mainly for reading, Twitter and Are.na. Occasionally, I use it for taking notes and drawing.
  • LG Ultrawide Monitor 34": This is a crucial part of my setup. I like to have a lot of screen real estate and this monitor does the job perfectly. This is my second time using this exact same monitor, I broke the first one and regretted it so I had to buy another one.
  • Acer 25" Monitor: Vertical monitor on one side of my ultrawide. Great for reading documentation and long code files.
  • HP 25" Monitor: Another vertical monitor on the other side. I use this for chat applications and terminal output.

Software

  • Obsidian: A cornerstone of my digital note-taking, Obsidian is where I weave my thoughts into a second brain. I use a molecule-hybrid note-taking system
  • VSCode: My daily driver for coding. I use it with Claude Code for AI-assisted development.
  • Conductor: Conductor for running and managing Claude Code agents.
  • Goland: Goland is my go-to IDE for writing Go. It costs a bit (about 200 USD/yr) but it's worth it.
  • Notion: Notion feels slow but makes my tables look great so I use it for that.
  • Safari: I use safari is my primary web browser ocasionally complimented by Brave,
  • Amethyst: With extra screen real estate comes the need for efficient window management. Amethyst is my go-to window manager, allowing me to organize my workspace with ease.
  • Signal: I use signal for messaging family
  • Ghostty: I spend a ton of time in the terminal and Ghostty is fast and minimal.
  • Tmux: Managing terminal sessions is easy for me with Tmux
